Elishia holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as a Masters in Social Work from Indiana University. She is a Licensed Social Worker. Elishia has worked for 7 years in a community mental health center setting with individuals, children, and families experiencing a range of trials. Some of these adversities have included abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, neglect, infidelity, substance use, parenting skills and managing stress. Therapy is as unique as the individual. Therefore, Elishia uses a variety of interventions and protocols to ensure care that is centered around an individual’s needs. Elishia believes the relationship dynamic between the client and the therapist is the essential piece for a successful treatment outcome. Trust, open communication and transparency play a large role in long term change. That relationship dynamic is then created around individual needs in hopes to provide a place of healing.
