I first found my passion for psychology in sport during my four years as a collegiate baseball player. I then earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from Purdue University Northwest and a Masters in Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity from Illinois State University.
Professionally, I use my background in sport psychology while working as a teacher and high school baseball coach. My experience has allowed me to work with many individuals from different age groups and backgrounds. My expertise can assist clients that are struggling with mental setbacks such as burnout, performance anxiety, or motivation. I can also provide clients with mental techniques that may offer an edge in performance such as visualization, self-talk, or arousal regulation.
My goal is to help clients identify, develop, and then self regulate mental strategies in order to benefit performance.
