Co-Facilitator/Facilitator for Substance Use IOP Groups (Full-time)
Description

As a co-facilitator in our Substance Use IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program), you will have the opportunity to provide group therapy to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Initially, you will work alongside an experienced facilitator to lead group sessions three days a week, with the potential to transition into independently leading your own groups. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within our organization.

Responsibilities

Reporting to our Coordinator of Substance Use Services, the Co-Facilitator for Substance Use IOP Groups is responsible for supporting the facilitation of group therapy sessions and providing evidence-based treatment to clients in a structured outpatient setting. This position will have a reduced individual caseload based on involvement in IOP program, providing personalized counseling and treatment to clients.

 

  • Assisting in the facilitation of substance use IOP group sessions three days a week
  • Assisting in case management tasks
  • Engaging clients in meaningful discussions and activities aimed at promoting recovery
  • Supporting clients in setting SMART goals and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Providing feedback and insights to clients during group sessions to foster their understanding and growth
  • Identifying and addressing cultural, social, and emotional factors that impact clients' recovery
  • Consulting with the lead facilitator and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive treatment approaches
  • Referring clients to additional health professionals and community resources as needed
  • Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records of group sessions
  • Attending weekly supervision meetings and participating in agency-wide training sessions
Qualifications
  • Valid mental health licensure LCSW, LSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LCAC, LCAC-A, LPCC, Clinical Psychology PsyD/PhD 
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI number)
  • Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy ($1mil/$3mil)
