Hannah Archos graduated with a Master of Science degree in I/O psychology and a Master of Arts degree in clinical psychology. She is pursuing her doctorate in clinical psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. Recently, Hannah provided therapy at a trauma recovery center with victims of intentional violence who had PTSD and other trauma- and stressor-related disorders. This is where she became certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid and participated in didactics about trauma-informed modalities such as CPT. Prior to this, she engaged in DBT in individual and group sessions at a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Program.™ At this program, Hannah worked with individuals with difficulties related to complex trauma, substance use, ADHD, mood disorders, and borderline personality disorder, providing psychoeducation about the DBT modules of interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. Prior to this experience, she worked at a private practice where she administered neuropsychological assessments and wrote diagnostic reports for individuals with neurodegenerative disorders, learning disorders, ADHD, autism, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. Over the course of her career, she has provided clinical services for individuals aged 3 to 90.

Hannah has received specialized training in person-centered therapy in her graduate program and utilizes a person-centered approach as the foundation of therapy. She believes that each individual is the expert of their own experience and emphasizes curiosity, genuineness, and a non-judgmental stance as a clinician. She draws on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), each DBT module (including mindfulness), the psychodynamic orientation, and trauma-informed modalities such as TF-CBT and somatic processing.
