Celeste is a graduate of Purdue University Northwest, where she received a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. Celeste is also a Board Certified – Music Therapist and Perinatal Mental Health Certified. Celeste serves as a volunteer state coordinator and online peer support group leader for Postpartum Support International and is passionate about supporting mothers on their journey to wellness.
Celeste has been working with parents and children for over 20 years, as a Music Therapist, Special Education Teacher, Birth Doula, Peer Support Specialist and Maternal Mental Health Consultant. In addition to her work at Pillars of Wellness, Celeste supports mothers and their families through her private practice, offering individual and group peer support and education to those struggling with Postpartum Depression and other Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders.
In each therapy session, Celeste invites her clients to openly express their struggles and frustrations and find confidence in their own strength and wisdom. She believes that self-awareness and self-compassion are key to the healing process. Celeste embraces a holistic, mind-body approach to therapy, often leading her clients into mindfulness, relaxation and expressive arts experiences to facilitate insight and growth.
