Human Resource and Marketing Interns

At Pillars, we have a unique opportunity to not only provide mental health training, but also training with our HR director and marketing department. In the past, we have accepted interns seeking Healthcare Leadership degrees to learn what it is like to be in a leadership role within the healthcare field. As an intern in the HR department, you can expect to be involved in projects such as: the interview process, onboarding, leadership training, credentialing, handling personnel files, giving presentations, etc.

As an HR intern, you will play a role in recruiting, handling staffing logistics and work in organizational planning techniques.  You will also be responsible for assisting with performance management and improvement systems where necessary.  You will work with the HR Director to ensure all people-related issues are being taken care of.  Ultimately, our goal is for the intern to learn about our company culture, develop leadership techniques and gain confidence in people-management, time-management and communication skills.
