Dr. Daniels is a graduate of the Illinois School of Professional Psychology’s Doctorate of Clinical Psychology Program. She has completed clinical training in hospital, therapeutic day school, and community mental health settings. She completed her internship at Family Service and Guidance Center, a community mental health center, where she also received specialized training in play therapy and worked with children, adolescents, and families from ages 4-18 years old.

Dr. Daniels has many years of experience working with children and adolescents which includes 12 years as an educator and coach before pursuing a career in psychology. In the clinical realm, she has experience with treating anxiety, depression, diminished self-esteem, and behavioral issues in children and adolescents, as well as concerns related to family dynamics and parenting skills, utilizing an integrative approach.

Coping with social and emotional challenges can be overwhelming. Therefore, Dr. Daniels strives to create a warm, empathetic, and safe space for all clients. She believes that developing a positive therapeutic relationship is important in promoting positive well-being, change, and healing. She believes that no single approach is right for every individual and is therefore flexible in her approach and comfortable taking the client’s lead during the therapy process. Dr. Daniels aims to incorporate engaging, creative, and interactive interventions in treatment that are best suited for the individual to help them explore challenges, and develop healthy skills and behaviors.
