Dr. Urska Dobersek is a former professional athlete who graduated from Florida State University with a Ph.D. in Sport and Exercise Psychology. In addition to her work as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant, Dr. Dobersek is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Southern Indiana. Following the scientist-practitioner model, Dr. Dobersek integrates the science of sport and exercise psychology and leverages her professional experiences to shape her research. She examines the effects of body image and diet on mental health and the evolutionary predictors of mate selection. Dr. Dobersek has over 90 peer-reviewed abstracts, publications, and book chapters.
