Becky is a graduate of Purdue University Northwest where she received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. Previously she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University Calumet. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Licensed School Counselor, and a Licensed Elementary Teacher.

Becky has experience working in schools of all levels, a residential home, private practice, and a nonprofit agency. She has worked with children as young as toddlers and as old as elderly. Becky has a variety of experience with different populations in various settings. She specializes in working with children and adolescents. Her areas of interest are relationship issues, family issues, school issues, stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and human sexuality. Becky uses expressive arts to assist in therapy. She uses person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and art therapy. Becky is passionate about helping people feel safe and comfortable expressing themselves in therapy. She uses art to help clients express themselves in a way that they may not have ever been able to do before.

Becky enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has five nieces and one nephew that she loves being around. She enjoys playing with her family’s cats Hamilton and Eliza. She also enjoys volunteering at her church in the children’s ministry, reading, watching movies, and creating art in various ways.
