Ms. Eizenga is a graduate of Eastern University (St. Davids, PA) with a Bachelor’s of Social Work and Rutgers University (New Jersey) with a Master’s of Social Work. She has worked with adults, adolescents, and families in both outpatient and residential settings. Ms. Eizenga has training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy. She is passionate about working with clients through a variety of life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relational difficulties, life transitions, spiritual/faith-based concerns, and trauma.
Ms. Eizenga is dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate space for clients to open up and explore areas of their lives that may be causing distress or holding them back from accomplishing their daily tasks or life goals. She hopes to provide clients with tools and strategies to help them navigate issues in a healthy, empowering way and create positive change in their life. Ms. Eizenga encourages open expression of emotions, and believes that providing a validating, supportive environment, where clients are held accountable, is beneficial for therapy.
